NETWORK (1976) - The BEAUTY OF FAYE DUNAWAY (Part 5)
After several nominations, FAYE DUNAWAYfinally won her best female in a lead role Oscar for her role as Diane Christensen, a ruthless network executive in the Sidney Lumet directed drama.
Playing opposite Peter Finch (who also won the Oscar that same year), William Holden and Robert Duvall, Dunaway perfectly shows how the ratings war started in the mid 1970’s in the TV networks resulting in diminishing the quality of TV as we know it today
